Light, color, friction, harmony
-- These are the things I'm drawn to in photography. My landscape work is the result of my one enjoyment of the outdoors. I find peace in nature, personally and photography has been one way that I have tried to capture that peace in order to make it part of my home environment and share it with others. As a photographer, I really began to learn when I started developing my own black and white film. Over time, I began to see in terms of light, when shooting in black and white, and in terms of color and tone when shooting with color film.

Streetwork -- My approach here is very different. I'm much more interested the way people interact with one another and with identifying the mark of our culture on the world, graphics, grafiti, architecture, and people, human expressions of all form.
I believe that I can walk outside and take an interesting picture anytime. I'm never disappointed if I "miss" a shot. There's always another right around the corner. My background includes work for newspapers and as a free lance assignment photographer.
